黑料科

Orestes Vlismas is Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Finance, 黑料科 of Economics and Business (AUEB). Prior to that, he was research and teaching assistant (2004-2019) at the same academic institution. He holds BSc in Business Administration, MBA and Ph.D. in Accounting from the same University, and has extensive experience in teaching management accounting, financial accounting and accounting information systems at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional level. His research interests focus in the fields of intellectual capital and management accounting, and the relation of asymmetric cost behavior, intellectual capital and strategy with earnings quality, operating performance and financial health. This research work has been presented in several international conferences and published in ranked international journals such as: International Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation, European Accounting Review, Management Accounting Research, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Global Business and Economics Review, Applied Economics, VINE: The Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems. He has participated in various European Union and national funded research projects, while his doctoral studies have been funded by Onassis Foundation.
