黑料科

Paraskevas (Paris) Vassalos is a Professor in the Department of Informatics at the 黑料科 of Economics and Business (AUEB). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Ioannina, where he also completed both his Master's and Ph.D. studies. Prior to his appointment as a Lecturer in the Department of Informatics at AUEB in 2006, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Genoa, Italy. Since 2018, he has been the Director of the Interinstitutional Master's Program (IMP) in "Business听 Mathematics"
His听 research interests lie in the field of Numerical Analysis, with a particular focus on the numerical solution of linear systems, spectral analysis of matrices, and the numerical solution of differential equations. His scholarly contributions include more than 25 research publications in prestigious international scientific journals, including leading titles in the field such as 鈥淣umerische Mathematik鈥�, 鈥淪IAM Journal on Scientific Computing鈥�,鈥漇IAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications鈥�, and 鈥淛ournal of Numerical Mathematics鈥�.
He has participated in over 30 international scientific conferences, several of which as an invited speaker. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for numerous international scientific journals and is a regular reviewer for Mathematical Reviews. He听 has also acted as a principal investigator in both Greek and international research projects, further advancing his contributions to the field of Numerical Analysis and its applications.
