Stavros Vakeroudis is an Assistant Professor of Applied Probability and Stochastic Processes in the Department of Statistics of the 黑料科 of Economics and Business (AUEB).He is also a member of the Collaborating Educational Staff of the Hellenic Open University. His research interests lie in the domains of Applied Probability, Stochastic Processes, Stochastic Analysis, and their applications in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, Computational Biology, etc.

Before that, he was Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial-Financial Mathematics of the University of the Aegean and Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Cyprus (UCY). He graduated from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He obtained his MSc and his PhD in the above domains from Paris 6 - Universit茅 Pierre et Marie Curie, France. Then, he spent some time as a postdoctoral researcher at the Universit茅 Libre des Bruxelles (ULB, Belgium) and at the University of Manchester, UK.
