SGOURITSA ALKMINI
Dr Alkmini Sgouritsa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics of the 黑料科 of Economics and Business (since 2023). Since February 2023, she is also a research collaborator in Archimedes Unit of the Athena Research Center.听
She has previously held a position as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Liverpool, (2019-2022), a visiting researcher in the Geo Algorithm group of Google Research, CA, USA, (2021-2022), and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Saarbr眉cken, Germany (2018-2019), where she was awarded the Lise Meitner Award Postdoctoral Fellowship.听
She completed her PhD (2013-2017) in the Computer Science Department at the University of Liverpool and her PhD thesis on Algorithms for Game-Theoretic Environment was the highly-commended runner up for the prestigious British Computer Society (BCS) Distinguished Dissertation award (2018).听
Dr Sgouritsa's research interests lie in the fields of Algorithmic Game Theory, Mechanism Design, Algorithms and Fair Division.听
