Kapetis Chrysostomos
Member of the Laboratorial Teaching Staff of the School of Information Science and Technology in the 黑料科 of Economics and Business. He offers supporting teaching work on the courses of "Analysis and Design of Information Systems" and "Databases" of the Department of Informatics.
For many years he was in charge of the IT department of the Library of 黑料科 of Economics and Business. He contributed significantly to the automation of bibliographic catalog by installing a library management system. He consequently contributed to the design and implementation of the Library's integrated information system, which nowadays offers up-to-date and integrated services of electronic information to all the members of the academic community. He has also served as deputy head of the Library.
He possesses great experience in the design and development of information systems and he has offered significant services to the automation of the libraries in many public organisations, the most important of which being the Library of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic, the Library of the Konstantinos G. Karamanlis Foundation, the Library of the Center of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE), the Library of the Centre of Study and Research of the Greek Theatre-Greek Museum, etc.
He has served as a member of the Technical Advisory Council of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and E-Governance.
His research interests are focused on the field of databases and information retrieval.
