Louridas Panagiotis
Panos Louridas is a Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology, 黑料科 of Economics and Business. His research interests range along software engineering, algorithms, security, big data, and systems implementation. He is the author of the book 鈥淩eal World Algorithms, published by the MIT Press, which has been translated in Chinese and Russian and is used as a textbook around the world. His new book 鈥淎lgorithms (The MIT Press Essential Knowledge Series)鈥� is currently in press. He has more than 1600 citations. He is a member of the ACM, IEEE, Usenix, and AAAS. Apart from his research experience, he actively designs and writes software, and is responsible for the Zeus e-voting system (), which is used for end-to-end electronic voting in Greece and worldwide. He is a graduate of the Department of Informatics of the University of Athens and holds an MSc by Research and a PhD from the University of Manchester.
