Dr. Manolis N. Kritikos is Professor of Operations Research and Information Systems at the Department of Management Science and Technology of the 黑料科 of Economics and Business (AUEB).听

He received a B.Sc. in Mathematics and a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Operations Research, both from the University of Athens. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Management Science from 黑料科 of Economics and Business. His doctoral research has been funded by 黑料科 of Economics and Business and EDAMBA (European Doctoral Program Association in Management and Business Administration) with host institute the Rotterdam Business School.听

He has taught Mathematics and a wide variety of Computing and Operations Research courses to undergraduate and graduate students at 黑料科 of Economics and Business, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of West Attica, Hellenic Open University and the Erasmus Program of AUEB. He is serving as Director of the Management Science Laboratory (MSL) of AUEB, Deputy president of the Management Science and Technology department and President of the university student club of AUEB.听

He was awarded the year 2017 with the Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing by the ELSEVIER science publishing Company for his contribution to the quality of the Expert Systems With Applications Journal (impact factor 8.665). Also, he was awarded with certificates for his contribution as a reviewer by the Editors of the journals: European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers and Operations Research, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Transportation Research Part E. He has been appointed as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Statistics and Management Systems (JSMS).听听

He was (for the period 2015-2021) Secretary General of the Executive Board of the Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe (MASSEE). Also, he has served as Vice President, Secretary General and member of the Executive Board of the Hellenic Mathematical Society. He has served as a consultant on Information Systems at the Greek Ministry of Development , evaluator in more than 60 procurement tenders for computer systems and software and is Chairman of the Supervisory Scientific Council of the Model Senior High School Agioi Anargyroi.听

He is the author of a computer science book. Also, he is the scientific editor of edition in the Greek language by the Broken Hill publishing house of the books: Linear Algebra and Applications, Calculus & its Applications of Pearson publishing house, and Mathematics for Economists of the Manchester University Press.听

He is an author several research papers (20 in ABS list and 15 in Q1 rank) in international journals and books such as : OMEGA-the International Journal of Management Science, Expert Systems with Applications 鈥� an international journal, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, International Transactions in Operational Research, Applied economics, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, Operational Research: An International Journal, Journal of Statistics & Management Systems, Higher Education Studies, International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management, Journal of Mathematics and System Science, Journal of Information Systems & Operations Management, Book series : Learning and Analytics in Intelligent Systems. More than 60 his papers have been presented at International and Greek conferences.听

His research interests include combinatorial optimization, mathematical programming models, artificial intelligent and machine learning, design, and analysis of algorithms for operational research problems and systems performance measurement methodologies.听
