Role Description
We are seeking entry-level ACCA Trainees for our June intake. As an ACCA Trainee, you will join our accounting, audit, and tax teams and begin building a strong foundation across all core areas of professional practice. You will support client engagements under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining hands on exposure to financial reporting, audit procedures, and direct/indirect tax compliance.
Your responsibilities will expand progressively as you advance through your ACCA qualification. From preparing accounting records and reconciliations to assisting with tax computations and audit working papers, you will develop the technical, analytical, and professional skills needed for a successful career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing accounting records, management accounts, and financial statements.
- Support audit teams with planning, fieldwork, sampling, and documentation of audit evidence.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT, VIES, and other indirect tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax computations and supporting schedules.
- Conduct basic research on tax legislation, compliance requirements, and regulatory updates.
- Maintain accurate and organized working papers and client files.
- Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely delivery of client work.
- Participate in internal training and continuous professional development aligned with the ACCA pathway.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (completed or in progress)
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Good command of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Clear and professional communication in Greek and English
- Team oriented mindset with a proactive approach to learning
Compensation Package
- Annual gross salary (including a 13th salary) of €17,000Ìý
- Annual Performance Bonus
- Full payment of the fees for all ACCA papers until completion
- Allowance of 5 days paid study leave for each paper
- Commitment to work with our firm for two years post ACCA qualification
- Annual Holidays of 21 working days
- 37 working hours weekly with 2 afternoons off
- Provident Fund after 6 months of employment (starting employer contribution percentage 2%)
- Payment of all ACCA & ICPAC fees
- Payment of all necessary seminars
- Hybrid work schedule with three days at the office and two from home
