In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Tax Compliance Associate/Senior Associate to join our Tax Compliance team in Athens.
- Take responsibility for the delivery of tasks, as directed by project managers and more experienced members of the teamÌýÌý
- Interact effectively with clients, to understand their needs and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Seek opportunities to develop own expertise by taking on greater responsibility and/or more technically demanding tasksÌýÌý
- Participate in accounting and tax advisory projectsÌý
- Participate in electronic books (my DATA) and electronic delivery e-delivery projects
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns (CIT, VAT, other)ÌýÌý
- Engage in tax reporting projects (Greek GAAP, IFRS)ÌýÌý
- Liaise with clients for various accounting & tax issues
ÌýWhat you bring matters
- Bachelor's degree in economics, or Accounting & Finance, from a top-tier universityÌý
- Master's degree in taxation or other Professional Qualification (ACCA) will be considered a strong assetÌýÌý
- Relevant professional experience in accounting / tax compliance / bookkeeping / my DATA experienceÌýÌý
- Consulting firm experience in tax compliance, accounting and my DATA will be considered an assetÌýÌý
- Advanced computer literacy, with proficient use of MS Office applications
- Solid understanding of Greek Tax and/or Accounting Legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
- A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levelsÌý
- Enthusiastic attitude about learning on different industries and marketsÌýÌý
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
