On 17 December 2025, 黑料科 of Economics and Business (AUEB) welcomed a twelve-member delegation from to the Senate Hall. Tsinghua is consistently ranked among the top universities in 黑料科 and among the top 20 universities globally across major international rankings.

The delegation was led by Prof. QIU Yong, Chairman of the Tsinghua University Council. The catalyst for organizing the visit was Tsinghua Assistant Professor Vasileios Trigkas, an alumnus of AUEB. AUEB expresses its sincere appreciation to Prof. Trigkas for his role in catalysing this strategic collaboration between the two institutions. The delegates were welcomed to AUEB by Rector Prof. Vasilis Vasdekis, Vice Rector of Financial Planning and Infrastructure Assoc. Prof. Eleanna Galanaki,听Vice Rector of Research and Lifelong Learning Prof. Georgia Siougle, Prof. Vasilis Papadakis in his capacity as former Vice Rector of International Cooperation and Growth, and Mr. Thomas Bebis, Associate to the Rectorate.

During the visit, both sides explored opportunities to partner across a variety of areas. The meeting was held in a particularly cordial atmosphere and culminated with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions.

The visit concluded with a business lunch at the Acropolis Museum.
