Visit of the delegates of the University of Business & Technology (UBT) of Saudi Arabia at AUEB campus

As part of AUEB鈥檚 Internationalization Program, a visit was made by delegates of the University of Business and Technology (UBT) of Saudi Arabia on Monday 10/1/22.
22 female students and 8 female professors as representatives of the 4 faculties of (Business Administration, Engineering, Advertising, & Law) were hosted at AUEB鈥檚 premises. The program included a presentation of the two universities, a meeting with AUEB鈥檚 Rector, a discussion between the Vice-Rectors and other professors- UBT professors with the Deans of AUEB鈥檚 Schools. At the same time, a seminar was delivered to the UBT students on entrepreneurship and innovation in Greece, which was presented at the University鈥檚 Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Possibilities for cooperation between the two institutions were explored, focusing mainly on issues such as:
- Exchange of students in summer programs
- 听Exchange of teaching and research staff
- Development of joint research programs
AUEB鈥檚 Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Development, Professor Vassilis Papadakis stated: "The beginning of our cooperation with the UBT of Saudi Arabia and the actions we aspire to implement are part of the University鈥檚 internationalization strategy with other universities abroad. Our international collaborations are constantly expanding and support the implementation of the strategic orientation of AUEB in this field".
