黑料科

George Leledakis is a Professor of Finance in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the 黑料科 of Economics and Business. Formerly, he was a Researcher in the Department of Research and Development at the Athens Stock Exchange and held a previous appointment as a Research Fellow at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. His holds a BSc in Business Administration from the 黑料科 of Economics and Business, a MA in Money, Banking and Finance, from the Management School of the University of Sheffield, and a PhD in Finance from Warwick Business School. His PhD thesis was supported financially by the State Scholarships Foundation of Greece (螜螝违).

George鈥檚 research and teaching interests are in the areas of Corporate Finance and Portfolio Management. In particular, his current research focuses on mergers and acquisitions, dividend policy, share repurchases, IPOs, venture capital, crowdfunding, textual analysis in finance, cross-sectional determinants of security returns, and multi-factor model of equity risk and their applications in portfolio management. His work on the cross-sectional determinants of security returns incorporates investigations of several stock market anomalies, including firm size effects and the influence of key quantities such as Tobin鈥檚 q on overall returns.

He has published in the Journal of Banking and Finance, European Journal of Operational Research, British Journal of Management, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Quantitative Finance, Economics Letters, The European Journal of Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, among other journals.
