Merkouris Panagiotis
Panagiotis Merkouris is Professor in the Department of Statistics. He holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, an MSc degree in Statistics from McGill University, Canada, and a PhD degree in Statistics from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He has previously worked as senior research statistician at Statistics Canada, as expert scientist at the National Statistical Agency of Greece, and as professor of mathematics and statistics at Vanier College in Montreal. His main research interests include survey sampling, estimating functions, and inference for stochastic processes.
