黑料科

Professor in Financial Accounting at the Department of Accounnting & Finance of the 黑料科 of Economics & Business. He obtained a Bachelor Degree in 1981 from the Graduate School for Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki (Department of Business Administration), a Master of Science from the University of Wales (Institute of Science and Technology - Department of Business Administration and Accountancy) in 1982 and a Ph.D degree from the same university in 1985.

He was elected as chairman of the Department of Accounting & Finance from 2002 to 2007. He was a member of the Research Committee of the AUEB (2002 - 2007). He was a member of the Review Committee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation for the Translation of International Accounting Standards into Greek. He served as: National Representative of Greece in the Executive Committee of the European Accounting Association (from 2002 to 2008) and as Country Director for Greece of the International Relations Committee 蟿慰蠀 International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association (from 2006 to 2007). He is a member of the executive committee of the Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association (since 2005). He has participated in noumerous committees of both the public and the private sector.

His research interests are in the areas of Financial Accounting, Accounting and Capital Markets, Public Sector Accounting and Taxation. He has published in many journals among which are: The International Journal of Accounting, The European Accounting Review, Applied Financial Economics & The Journal of Management and Governance. He is the author of many books on accounting. He is member of the Editorial Review Board 蟿慰蠀 The International Journal of Accounting. He has acted as an ad hoc reviewer in the following journals: "Accounting, Auditing and Performance Evaluation", 芦North Eastern Europe Journal of Economics禄, 芦Investment Research and Analysis Journal禄 and 芦SPOUDAI禄
